The position of the duty engineer is considered the management line of the Engineering department. It provides an important link between the technician and Engineering management.
The Four Seasons Hotel functions 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift as business demands. In addition, it is understood that business determines the amount of hours that are worked, and that a minimum of 48 hours should be completed per week. All methods, materials and practices must meet and be in accordance with the local code, Four Seasons specification, national codes and standard practices. Answering the telephone Fire Fighting procedure as a member of fire fighting team Attend briefing and meeting of engineering, the other department meeting within engineering. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Comply with all departmental compliance requirements as set forth by Human Resources. Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
