Duty Engineer

Description:

• Duty Engineer – Maintenance participates in the preventive maintenance program of all-building equipment and rooms. Supervise
• train
• and inspect the performance of engineering staff ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel’s standards. Work closely with Engineer Supervisor/ Manager in scheduling work and setting priorities. Also make decisions in the absence of Engineer Supervisor/ Manager and act as the backup for calls when there are emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma. Engineering related field is preferred
  – Minimum 4 years’ experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area in a 4- or 5-star hotel
• technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
  – Confined Space Worker Course Certification
  – Liquefied Petroleum and LPG Worker Course Certification
  – Working at Heights Training Course Certification
