Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As an Event Planner, you’re not just driving revenue through proactive selling and strategic sales techniques – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Support revenue growth: Assist  senior management identifying upselling opportunities, and contributing to overall revenue growth through effective sales techniques
  • Build client relationships: Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, deliver tailored solutions, and encourage repeat business
  • Coordinate show rounds and promotions: Arrange and conduct engaging hotel show rounds, delivering exceptional experiences while supporting promotional initiatives to attract new and returning clients
  • Manage event sales pipeline: Oversee the events calendar to maximise space utilisation, coordinate third-party suppliers, and ensure seamless planning and execution of all events
  • Oversee client handover: Manage all event documentation and administration, ensuring accurate capture of client requirements and a smooth transition from sales to operations
  • Support team and stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager and Senior Hotel Management Team to support team objectives, plan key events, and drive overall performance
