Executive Chef

Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is seeking an Executive Chef to lead and elevate the culinary experience at a beautifully situated resort overlooking the iconic Torrey Pines Golf Course and Pacific coastline. This role offers the opportunity to oversee restaurant and banquet operations that cater to a mix of leisure travelers, weddings, corporate groups, and local guests seeking a true Southern California experience. As Executive Chef, you will drive the culinary vision through seasonal menus, thoughtful execution, and strong kitchen leadership while fostering a culture centered around collaboration, creativity, and consistency. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who enjoys blending elevated coastal cuisine with the energy and versatility of a resort environment.

What will I be doing?

  • Direct and oversee all culinary operations, to include, but not limited to, production of all hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability
  • Create and implement new menus and individual menu items for outlets based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with Director of Food and Beverage
