A luxury Oahu resort on the island’s sunny Western Coast. Join us in Ko Olina and find your very own place of joy. The Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for an Executive Pastry Chef who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

 

The Executive Pastry Chef reports to the Executive Chef. They will be responsible for the planning, organizing, controlling and directing the work of employees responsible for preparation of sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, breads, chocolates and show pieces while ensuring superior quality and consistency. The position of Executive Pastry Chef is highly demanding in quality, product versatility, and volume, but also rewarding to create an operation from its inception.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Executive Chef on pastry menus and pastry related programs in the hotel
  • Hands on leader that takes a “show and tell” approach to work with team and set expectations
  • Contributes creatively to outlets and is flexible in the execution of products
  • Challenges superiors and peers to refine and innovate the culinary experience

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • College Degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts or equivalent experience is required.
