JOB DESCRIPTION
The iconic Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza is seeking a temporary Executive Sous Chef to join their culinary team! This Midtown high-rise with 439 guest rooms is the closest hotel to the United Nations and half a mile from Grand Central Station. Our historic Ambassador Grill and iconic lobby are both official New York City Interior Landmarks!
This position will report to the Executive Chef and oversee a union team of two sous chefs, fifteen line cooks and ten stewards.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of three years’ experience leading a union banquet culinary team within a hotel.
Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work AM and PM shifts as needed, any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed
Pay Rate: $1,900.00 per week

What will I be doing?
As Executive Sous Chef, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of the planning, preparation, production and control of all culinary operations in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
