The Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join our award-winning property. Bring your talents to the table in a creative, dynamic atmosphere, with teammates that share the same passion for hospitality!
In this role, you will oversee 1 Jr. Sous Chef, 12 cooks, and report to the Executive Chef. The scope of responsibility includes mainly banquets and also overseeing daily operations in restaurant outlets.
The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of progressive experience in culinary management, have a strong banquets background and will have a leadership style that aligns with Hilton’s values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, and Now.
What will I be doing?
As Executive Sous Chef, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of the planning, preparation, production and control of all culinary operations in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
