Food & Beverage Supervisor

We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team and help lead our restaurant, bar, and events operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences.

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will support the Food & Beverage leadership team in the day-to-day operation of our restaurant, bar, room service, and event spaces. You will lead by example, motivate team members, and ensure service standards consistently exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations across all service outlets.
  • Lead, coach, and support team members to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, health and safety requirements, and food safety regulations.
  • Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance development.
  • Coordinate service during busy periods and special events.
  • Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Handle guest enquiries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management processes.
  • Assist with rostering and labour cost management.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Lead bar operations.

 

Qualifications

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous supervisory experience in a hotel, restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and service standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Current LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate (preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
