Job Description

 

We’re looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a vital role in creating exceptional first impressions and ensuring every visitor experiences warm, professional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that values efficiency, empathy, and excellence in hospitality.

  • Create, modify, and manage guest reservations with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Handle group booking inquiries and coordinate group check-ins and check-outs
  • Execute check-in and check-out procedures following established protocols while maintaining a friendly demeanor
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests with a solution-oriented approach
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, room types, amenities, pricing, dining options, and current promotions
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure and professionalism
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns with empathy and decisiveness
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Maintain organized records and ensure accurate documentation of all transactions
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment
  • Perform night shift rotations as needed to ensure continuous front desk coverage

 

Qualifications

 

  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in at least one additional language (Arabic, French, or German preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills with a genuine passion for customer service
  • Proven ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic when handling challenging situations
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with computer systems and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS)
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts and rotating schedules
  • Team player mentality with collaborative spirit and supportive attitude
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous hospitality, front office, or customer service experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and hotel operations (preferred)
