Situated in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, with views out over the river to Southbank, the ibis Styles Brisbane is a modern, stylish hotel catering for both business and leisure guests. With 367 rooms, ibis Styles Brisbane is one of the largest hotels in Brisbane City. We are bright, colourful, stylish and we are looking for our next Part-Time Front Office All Rounder to join our hardworking and dedicated crew.
This role is responsible for contributing to deliver expectational guest service and creating a welcoming first impression for all guests at ibis Styles Brisbane. As the first point of contact for the hotel, this role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience from arrival through to departure.
Key responsibilities include managing guest check-ins and outs, handling reservations and guest enquiries, processing payments, and providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions. The role also involves responding to guest requests promptly, resolving issues in a professional manner, and maintaining clear communication with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
Front Office all-rounders are expected to uphold Accor’s Heartist service culture, demonstrating professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality at all times.
– Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably with a front office environment
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with guests and colleagues
– Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling reservations, guest information and payments
– Ability to remain calm, professional and solution focused when handling guest enquiries or conversation
– Basic computer literacy and experience using hotel Property Management Systems is highly regartded. ,
– Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster is non-negotiable, with reception shifts required from either 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.
