Job Description

 

Are you energetic, hospitable, and ready to lead a dynamic front office team in the fast-paced setting of an international airport hotel? Do you thrive on the challenge of welcoming a diverse mix of guests – from business travelers, leisure guests, transit passengers to those unexpectedly stranded!

As a Front Office Supervisor, you are the face of our hotel and the right hand of the (Assistant) Front Office Manager. You ensure that everything at reception runs smoothly – from check-in to check-out – and guide the team in creating an exceptional guest experience, even in the most dynamic circumstances that an airport location brings.

What will you do?

  • Supervise front desk and assign tasks and provide clear instructions;
  • Coordinate special requests and issues with other departments;
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints, making decisions where needed in consultation with management;
  • Welcome, check in and check out guests;
  • Process reservations and payments via the reservation and cashier systems;
  • Provide guests with tourist and general information;
  • Deliver additional services such as wake-up calls, passing on messages, and resolving complaints;
  • Manage the telephone switchboard, handling and transferring calls;
  • Step in to resolve minor technical repair orders when the technical department is not on site.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Experience in a similar role within hospitality or front office operations;
  • Strong communication skills in English;
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to resolve issues quickly;
  • Flexibility to work in rotating shifts (day/evening/night);
  • Hands-on mentality.
