General Manager – Holiday Inn Express & Suites Asoke

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Asoke is a 200-key pre-opening hotel located in the heart of Bangkok’s Asoke district, with convenient access to the MRT Sukhumvit and BTS Asoke interchange.

The hotel will offer a mix of standard rooms and suites with kitchenettes, along with key facilities including a fitness centre, swimming pool, and restaurant.

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on General Manager to lead the hotel through its pre-opening phase and into successful operations. This role presents an exciting opportunity to build the team, establish operational standards, and deliver a strong opening under a globally recognised brand.

A Little Taste of Your Day-to-Day

• Lead the hotel through all pre-opening activities, including recruitment, training, and operational readiness
• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring brand standards and service quality are consistently delivered
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team culture
• Manage hotel financial performance, budgets, and cost controls
• Work closely with ownership and IHG stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with brand, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Act as a visible leader within the hotel, supporting both team members and operational needs

What We Need From You

• Proven experience as a General Manager, or as a senior hotel leader with strong experience in a second-in-command role within a full-service hotel
• Strong operational leadership experience in a complex hotel environment
• Demonstrated people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Sound commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and drive performance
• Experience in a pre-opening environment is an advantage
• Hands-on leadership style
