Job Description

 

We are looking for a part-time Guest Service Agent who enjoys engaging with and assisting guests and colleagues.  You will support the Front Office Assistant Managers with daily tasks at Reception and create a welcoming space for our guests. Offering the award rate of $25.70 per hour (increasing from 1 July) plus applicable penalty rates, this role offers a great development opportunity to grow your skills and confidence in a busy hotel in the heart of Melbourne’s conferencing precinct and to be a part of the global Accor community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a unique and personalized experience for each guest at our hotel by creating connections and using creative ways to exceed guest expectations.
  • Ensuring a warm and professional check in and check out experience for every guest
  • Supporting the wider front office team when required, including concierge and reservations
  • Taking and directing incoming calls and responding to guest requests
  • Sharing information about the hotel and the local area with our guests
  • Maintaining the presentation of the front desk and hotel lobby
