We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Monitor open dining sections for available tables
• Estimate and communicate wait times to guests
• Answer phone calls professionally and handle inquiries
• Escort guests to their tables and introduce them to their server
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation system
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations
• Address guest concerns and requests promptly and courteously
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Assist with special events and promotions as needed

• Vocational certificate or diploma in Food and Beverage service preferred
• Fluency in English; Arabic language is a plus
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic computer skills for managing reservation systems
