Job Mission :   You will be responsible for welcoming customers to the restaurant, assigning them a table, and explaining the restaurant’s concept and menu. You will also be in charge of informing customers about promotions and providing any information they may need about the restaurant. 

What will your main responsibilities be? 

1. Before service, you must review the current day’s reservations to familiarize yourself with potential VIPs and regular customers, and inform the Manager of each Restaurant.  

2. Greet hotel guests and customers upon their arrival at the Restaurant and escort them to their assigned table, adhering to Meliá brand standards. 

3. Provide the restaurant menu to customers and inform them that the order will be taken immediately by one of the waiters. 

4. Maintain a complete knowledge of all menu items, both food and drinks. 

5. Make follow-up calls to customers who had a reservation but had not arrived 30 minutes after the reserved time. 

6. To have full knowledge of any event taking place at the hotel. 

7. Be aware of the opening and closing times of the hotel’s points of sale. 

8. To offer exemplary service aimed at exceeding customer expectations to everyone who frequents the restaurants. 

9.  Monitor future bookings.
10. Monitor customer satisfaction during service at their tables. 

11. Anticipating customer needs (special needs, allergens…)  

12. Supervision of the aesthetics of each restaurant according to its theme. 

What are we looking for? 

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in restaurant operations is required. 

• Fluency in English and Spanish; a third language will be considered an asset. 

• Strong customer focus and excellent service. 

• Availability for split shifts (mornings for breakfasts and afternoons for dinners).
