JOB DESCRIPTION
The Hilton Chicago team is currently Hiring a Housekeeping Houseperson to join their team!
This person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel, assisting room/suite attendants with general cleaning of guest rooms and suites. This includes vacuuming, shampooing of carpets; cleaning/waxing of floors; trash removal; stocking and maintaining supply rooms and other cleaning duties.
What will I be doing?
As a Houseperson, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Pay Rate
The hourly rate upon hire is $19.43. After completion of 90 days of employment, the rate will increase to $22.02. After completion of 1 year of employment, the rate will increase to $25.90 or the applicable union rate at the time.
