Housekeeping Manager

The Hilton New York Times Square is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join our team. Located at the heart of Times Square, this upscale hotel soars 44 stories above Manhattan, offers 478 rooms and features a newly renovated food and beverage outlets, offering a breathtaking view of Times Square. This position is one of four Housekeeping Managers who will report to the Director of Housekeeping and help oversee 100+ team members.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of housekeeping leadership experience, knowledge of New York Union Local 6, cleaning procedures and chemical management.

Shift Pattern: Full availability needed including nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary Range: $68,000 – $78,000 / annually annually with any final offer based on experience.

What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Manager, you would be responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Manage daily housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service, and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
• Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage daily systems use and management, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.
• Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward.
• Oversee and conduct room inspections.
• Recruit, interview, and train team members.
