Houseperson

At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, an exceptional guest experience begins before check-in, and extends throughout every stay. As a Houseperson, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and welcoming.

This is a full-time, seasonal role, beginning in January 2026.

Starting Rate of Pay: $20.80 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation – hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.30

• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies
• Stock linen closet and supplies area
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as hallways, washrooms, changing rooms, showers and elevators
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Report and store lost and found items
• To respond to all Housekeeping and Royal Service calls, which includes guest deliveries and requests.
• To assist the Room Attendants in bringing them required supplies.

• Previous guest service and/or Housekeeping experience is an asset.
• Must be physically fit and able to carry/move heavy loads – up to 50 pounds.
• Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
