YOUR DAY TO DAY
As an HVAC Technician, you will be at the heart of our Engineering team, responsible for delivering optimal indoor comfort and climate control with precision, safety, and efficiency. You’ll ensure that every system operates at peak performance—creating seamless experiences for both our guests and colleagues while upholding the integrity and luxury of our environment.
HVAC & Mechanical Systems
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems, AHUs (Air Handling Units), fan coil units, and VAVs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure maximum efficiency, performance, and equipment longevity.
- Support refrigeration systems and respond to issues with walk-in coolers, freezers, or ice machines.
- Monitor system performance using tools such as pressure gauges, thermometers, and multimeters.
General Hotel Systems Support
- Assist in maintaining kitchen and laundry mechanical equipment (e.g., dish machines, dryers, steamers). Preferred but not required
- Support minor repairs and inspections across plumbing, electrical, and mechanical areas as needed.
- Respond promptly to work orders, guest concerns, and department service calls.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate daily with Engineering leadership regarding task assignments, priorities, and updates.
- Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth daily hotel operations.
- Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Required Qualifications
- Certification or formal training in HVAC, including refrigerant
- Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems (Building management system)
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
- Able to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Able to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
- Basic computer literacy for logging work orders and checking schedules
