We are looking for a passionate In-Room Dining Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. In this guest-facing role, you will deliver exceptional in-room dining experiences, ensuring every meal is presented with care, served with professionalism, and reflects the luxury standards of Sofitel. From preparing orders to providing warm, personalised service, you will play an important role in creating memorable stays for our guests.

 

Job Description

 

  • Deliver warm, professional, luxury-standard service aligned with Sofitel values at all times.
  • Provide prompt, courteous in-room dining service, including order delivery, presentation, billing, and timely tray/trolley clearance.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge, uphold hygiene and safety standards, and ensure all work areas remain clean, stocked, and operational.
  • Collaborate effectively with supervisors, kitchen, and service teams; report issues or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Complete required checklists, training, and compliance with all grooming, conduct, brand, and operational procedures.
  • Perform additional duties within your capability as directed by management.

 

Qualifications

 

About you

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desireable
  • Able to handle tasks carefully and correctly – is thoughtful and exact in details with a sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Displays a high level of positive energy in all interactions
  • Demonstrates versatility in responding to guest requests and situations
  • Is a team player that contributes to and assists co-workers
  • Must have the ability to carry multiple trays at once
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
