Kitchen Steward

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our friendly team at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets, located just steps from the Central Market. You’ll play a key role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly, cleanly, and safely — all while learning from some of the best in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate commercial dishwashers to clean dishes and equipment
• Maintain hygiene standards and keep kitchen spaces clean and organised
• Assist with basic food prep tasks (washing, peeling, etc.)
• Help with waste disposal and the correct storage of food
• Support the kitchen team with daily tasks as needed

What You’ll Need:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Legal rights to work in Australia
