What you will be doing:

  • Issue, inspect, and manage all colleague uniforms and dry cleaning
  • Assist in managing outgoing and incoming linens and terry to support daily hotel operations
  • Operate laundry and dry-cleaning machinery to process colleague uniforms, in-house laundry, and guest laundry as required
  • Press guest clothing upon request, ensuring high standards of care and presentation
  • Identify and report damaged or worn uniforms to Housekeeping leadership
  • Assist with uniform inventory counts and tracking as required
  • Support the operation of the self-service uniform conveyor, taking ownership of the area to ensure it remains clean, organized, and presentable
  • Report any maintenance or preventative maintenance needs to ensure the laundry and uniform areas operate to the highest standards
  • Create and manage colleague name tags as required
  • Provide support to the Lost and Found operation, including assisting with guest inquiries and facilitating the seamless return of guest belongings
  • Uphold the highest standards of internal and external customer service at all times by demonstrating Fairmont Service Essentials and applying 5 Diamond Service Standards
  • Comply with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts policies, procedures, and Code of Ethics
  • Remain Health & Safety conscious and actively contribute to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Actively participate in Fairmont Pacific Rim’s environmental program and department-specific sustainability initiatives
  • Perform any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Other duties assigned
