The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is seeking a Full Time Laundry Attendant – Sorter to join our Housekeeping Team. Under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, the Laundry Attendant (Sorter) will be responsible for the sorting of laundry in the hotel and laundering items as directed. This role is pivotal in ensuring the linen and terry levels are maintained. The Laundry Attendant (Sorter) will ensure that all standards and procedures objectives are met and exceeded on a consistent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance
• Ensures that the laundry is sorted daily into linen and terry
• Ensures that the linen and terry is placed in the correct area for pickup by the third-party laundry facility
• Maintain an organized laundry facility
• Ensure that all in house items are laundered consistently and are not sent out for cleaning
• Ensures Fairmont standards, procedures, and practices (LQA, Forbes, etc.) are followed on an on-going basis
