As Laundry Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all hotel linen, guest clothing and uniforms. Working behind the scenes, you will ensure all items are processed with care, precision and efficiency, supporting the overall guest experience through impeccable attention to detail. This role is ideal for a reliable and detail‑driven individual who takes pride in delivering quality and consistency within a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, drying and dry‑cleaning machines in line with established procedures
• Sort, inspect and identify stained or damaged items, determining appropriate action such as rewash or repair
• Set appropriate wash and drying cycles based on fabric type and load requirements
• Fold, press and prepare linen and garments to required presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, machines and equipment
• Remove lint, debris and waste from machines and filters after each cycle
• Accurately record and track items processed in the laundry system
• Ensure all laundry items are handled with care and returned promptly to the relevant departments
• Support the distribution of clean linen, uniforms and guest items across the hotel
• Report equipment faults, maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene and chemical handling procedures
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless operations
