What will I be doing?
Responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-wide solutions on cloud platform. Perform data profiling, data analysis, and data modeling. Improve data quality and efficiency of data processing channels and look for optimizations. Work with enterprise architects, data architects, and solution architects to design and implement data solutions to meet business priorities while keeping with technology strategy, standards, and the best course of action. Interpret trends and patterns in collaboration with engineering under architecture team guidance. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve the data platform. Document data flows, data models, and data dictionaries to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational transparency. Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize data engineering tasks in alignment with business objectives. Work under the guidance of the architecture team to align solutions with enterprise architecture principles and roadmaps. Develop monitoring and alerting solutions to track system health, performance, and data quality. Ensure reusability, modularity, and maintainability in data engineering and cloud architecture components. Implement best practices in data governance, metadata management, and data security while ensuring compliance with organizational policies. 10% domestic travel required.
Requirements:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, IT, or a related field and three (3) years of as a software engineering, IT, or related field. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, IT, or a related field and five (5) years of experience as a software engineering, IT, or related field.
