At Meliá Madrid Serrano we are looking to hire a Maintenance Specialist Technician with experience in plumbing and masonry , who will help ensure the proper functioning of our facilities and an excellent experience for our guests.
You will be part of the Technical Services team in a dynamic environment, where quality, speed of response and attention to detail are key.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel facilities
• Carry out plumbing work: repairing leaks, unclogging blockages, and maintaining water systems
• Install and repair toilets, faucets, and pipes
• Perform masonry work: repairing walls, floors, tiling, and minor renovations
• Assist with general hotel maintenance tasks
• Comply with quality, safety, and occupational risk prevention standards
• Coordinate interventions with other departments, minimizing operational impact
• Record incidents and track work orders
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in hotels or high-occupancy buildings
• Solid knowledge of plumbing and masonry
• Experience in other technical areas such as electricity or HVAC is a plus
• Decisive, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a team and flexible schedule
• Training in occupational health and safety and maintenance is a plus
