Description:

• Set in Malaysia’s rapidly developing capital, our hotel is located in the heart of KL Eco City, Bangsar and directly connected to LRT Station and KTM Commuter Station. Amari Kuala Lumpur is ideally located in between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya with 252 guest rooms ranging from well- appointed Superior rooms, Deluxe rooms, Club Deluxe rooms and Club One Bedroom Suites.

• -Major responsibility on Corporate business segment and others as assigned.

• -Set up appropriate filling system of existing and potential accounts, keep up to date and properly categorized.

• -Maintain prompt response to all enquiries or correspondence from customers and prospects.

• -Assure the proper handling, use and maintenance of office equipment of the work areas.

• -Provide other marketing support services to the superior and other sales staff as directed.

• -Develop new business for the property and maintain business relationship with potential and existing accounts.

• -Ensures the fulfillment of customer’s requirement and commitment based on assigned market.

• -Sell guest rooms, meetings & banquet function rooms, facilities and others as assigned. Account management of own accounts and to constantly seek for new accounts through sales calls, building blitzes, telemarketing, newspaper lead or other sources.

• -To create immediate awareness of the product both in local and international market.

• -Accurately input and update Sales & Catering system with account information, data and sales activities.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related professional area.

• • Minimum 2-5 year experience within a hotel/resort environment in Indian Ocean or in a beach destination.

• • Track record in sales achievements.

• • Familiar with the leisure market

• especially with European tour operators.

• • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy is a must. Knowledge of Opera PMS

• GDS and third party distribution would be an asset.
