Pastry Cook 1 – Role Overview

The Pastry Cook 1 is responsible for preparing high-quality pastry items in accordance with guest orders, standardized recipes, and established production, portion, and presentation standards. This role requires a strong knowledge of health and safety codes, as well as proficiency in the proper use of kitchen equipment. The Pastry Cook 1 ensures that all work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.

This is an on-call position, with primary support needed on weekends and during evening service shifts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic.

Qualifications include:

• Expertise in cake artistry and/or specialty cake decorating
• Ability to work cleanly and efficiently
• Attention to detail
• Solid communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and team player skills
