Join Our Team
We are looking for a skilled and talented Pastry Sous Chef to join the Four Seasons team! Your skill in baking high-quality treats should be matched by your creativity to develop amazing tastes and recipes. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the Executive Pastry Chef in menu development, production planning, and innovation of seasonal and signature desserts.
· Oversee the preparation and execution of all pastry and baking operations for restaurants, banquets, in-room dining, and special events.
· Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation, adhering to brand standards and luxury service expectations.
· Supervise, train, and mentor pastry team members, promoting a positive and professional kitchen environment.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen that meets all safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
· Monitor inventory, manage ordering of pastry supplies, and ensure cost-effective use of ingredients.
· Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all outlets and events.
· Monitor ingredient quality, storage conditions, and proper equipment usage.
· Analyze food costs and support the design of cost-effective, high-quality recipes.
