• Effectively supervise craft personnel to ensure that all assigned maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively by qualified workers in accordance with plant procedures, regulations, and site schedule.  Ensure department personnel are properly supervised, trained and qualified to perform assignments.
• Implement and assure compliance with the Fossil Generation Conduct of Maintenance Process which provides guidance and work practices for conducting maintenance in a manner that provides and promotes safety and quality.
• Administer coaching, mentoring and performance management including initiation of disciplinary action.  Ensure consistent administration of union contract.
• Effectively communicate company programs, announcements, policies, etc. to employees and provide feedback from employees to management.
• Participate in various aspects of work control, coordination, scheduling and engineering meetings involving load reductions, forced outages and planned outages activities to ensure that work is properly assigned, planned and ready to work.
• Participate in all aspects of Maintenance Department management to support safe and efficient operation of the plant including the development, implementation and performance monitoring of all corporate, site and business goals and objectives.
• Take complete ownership of the Power house, RO plant, STP, Boiler and Incinerator area for regular checks, PM maintenance and update to CDOE/ACE immediately for any abnormality.
• Plan in advance the work related to above and perform the duty as per the SOP and more as advice.

• College diploma or equivalent qualification(s)
• Minimum of 4-5 years of prior experience
• Previous experience of working in the Maldives can be advantageous
