In October 2020, Four Seasons Hotel Macao introduced The Grand Suites, an all-suite tower that took the concept of luxury and bespoke services to new heights. With the addition of 289 suites, the Hotel’s room count increased to a combined total of 649 keys, making it the largest property within the Four Seasons group. About the role

The Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily procurement operations and ensuring the timely acquisition of materials, services, and supplies needed to support business operations. This position plays a key role in managing supplier relationships, monitoring market trends, and leading the purchasing team to deliver cost-effective, high-quality procurement outcomes.

What you will do

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the purchasing team to ensure efficient daily operations, clear task allocation, and consistent performance standards.
• Oversee the entire procurement cycle, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, purchase order creation, delivery follow-up, and order closure.
• Conduct supplier assessments, performance reviews and risk analyses to ensure reliable, high-quality vendors capable of meeting business requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and service agreements to achieve optimal cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery expectations.
• Maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent supply flow, swift issue resolution, and long-term strategic partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast material needs, address shortages, and align procurement plans with operational priorities.
• Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain risks to recommend timely purchasing strategies or alternative sourcing options.
• Track and resolve discrepancies in invoices, delivery notes, or purchase orders, working closely with suppliers and finance to ensure timely payment.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
• Ensures all Four Seasons Hotel HACCP Policies and Procedures are in place and followed. Local regulations are in compliance as well as the cleanliness and organization of all work areas.
