ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Executive will provide support to the Sales management team to ensure the team achieves its revenue goals while delivering 5-star service to our guests. This is a pro-active role, meaning you will play an active part in finding and securing new business.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, a great communicator and driven!

As Sales Executive, key aspects of your role will include:

  • Proactively establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and prospective clients
  • Schedule and attend sales calls and networking events to meet prospective clients
  • Establish and maintain a database of clients
  • Communicate with guests via email, telephone and in-person
  • Conduct hotel show rounds with prospective and current clients
  • Liaise with Revenue to obtain bedroom rate quotes
  • Liaise with the operational beverage and food teams to ensure guest requests are met

Our ideal Sales Executive is someone who has:

  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience working in the five-star, luxury hotel and/or events market
  • At least two years’ experience working within a Sales environment within a hotel or hospitality-related company
  • A positive mindset
  • A genuine passion for their role
