MISSION 

 

Customer Service and Experience

 

  • To accompany the guest throughout their entire gastronomic experience, ensuring quality, warmth and personalization.
  • Manage special requests and resolve incidents during service.
  • Promote upselling and recommendations aligned with the hotel’s gastronomic concept.
  • Apply the standards and rituals specific to Meliá Collection.

 

Service Operation

 

  • Organize and supervise the mise en place of the assigned sector.
  • Control the pace of service, sequences, pairings, and presentation.
  • Ensure hygiene, order and HACCP standards.
  • Monitor inventory, materials, replenishments, and maintenance needs.

 

Team Management

 

  • Coordinate and lead the team assigned to the sector (waiters/waitresses, assistants, runners).
  • Facilitate communication with the kitchen, bars, and other departments.
  • Collaborate in operational training and identification of opportunities for improvement.
  • Support in operational planning: shifts, table assignments, spaces.

 

Administration and Control

 

  • Manage reservations, room layout and support in daily planning.
  • Perform cash counts, control cash registers and prepare shift reports.
  • Participate in inventories and consumption control.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar positions in 4* or 5* hotels.
  • Solid knowledge of room protocol, pairing, sequences and luxury standards.
  • Professional Spanish and English; other languages ​​are a plus.
  • PMS/POS management and operational tools.
  • Availability for rotating shifts.
