In this role as a Server, you will be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of (1) year of serving experience required. Prior wine knowledge also required.  Prior luxury hospitality experience preferred.  The ideal candidate must possess basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette. Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items. Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, record orders, and communicate with guests to explain and record orders. Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items. Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift. Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment. Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures to pre-check order and close out the check. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be able to work a full shift (8 hours) walking and standing with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire if applicable to the position you are applying for.
