•Present menu food and beverage selections to guests with engaging and detailed descriptions of each item’s origin, flavor profile, and preparation methods.
• Accurately communicate guest orders, including special requests and dietary needs, to kitchen staff through the hotel’s point-of-sale system.
• Coordinate service timing and verify that prepared orders match guest requests before timely delivery to ensure food quality and presentation standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, monitor satisfaction, provide recommendations, and respond promptly and professionally to requests or concerns.
• Process guest checks accurately, including cash and credit card transactions, while properly handling voids and complimentary items.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables, buffet areas, and food service stations in accordance with operational standards.
• Maintain compliance with company work rules, policies, and standards of conduct.
