At the Grand Hyatt Red Sea we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sous Chef – Banquets to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of traditional Arabic and Levant dishes, ingredients, spices, and modern presentation techniques. They will support the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef in menu development, kitchen operations, food quality, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead daily operations for Banquets section, ensuring consistent quality and flavor.
– Develop innovative, authentic Arabic and Levant dishes while maintaining traditional standards.
– Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff.
– Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to hotel standards.
– Ensure adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations (HACCP standards).
– Manage inventory, ordering of specialty ingredients, and cost control.
– Collaborate on menu planning, seasonal specials, and promotional events.
– Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
– Support executive leadership in maintaining smooth operations during service.
Qualifications & Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Sous Chef, specializing in Banquet Operations.
– In-depth knowledge of Arabic dishes and regional specialties.
– Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
– Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong commitment to quality, creativity, and guest satisfaction.
