About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Spa Team, the spa therapist missions  is to completely delight and satisfy our guests. We are committed to making a difference every day; continually getting better to keep us the best.

As Spa therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Welcome and take care of our customers in accordance with the Mandarin Oriental Group’s hospitality standards.
• Provide treatments developed by the Mandarin Oriental group, in line with the protocols and vision of the various brands (Nescens, 111Skin, Aromatherapy).
• Know and apply LQE and Forbes criteria.
• Listen to customers by responding to and anticipating their needs and expectations.
• Build loyalty and develop local and international clientele by providing an excellent customer experience and paying particular attention to detail.
• Play an active role in the spa’s success by providing personalized advice to each customer in order to optimize sales of retail products and complementary services.
• Ensure that both individual and collective objectives are met.
• Foster and develop team spirit.
• Keep the spa clean and tidy, ensuring that the necessary products are restocked before and after each treatment.
• Comply with health and safety standards.

As Spa therapist, we expect from you: 

• 2 years’ experience in a similar position in a prestigious establishment
• Mastery of one or more of the following treatment techniques (body and face): relaxing massage, deep, aromatherapy, reflexology, holistic treatments, as well as sales techniques
• Excellent presentation skills adapted to the world of luxury and well-being
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to meet the demands of high-end customers
• Fluent English, third language appreciated
