About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. You will be managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements and reports, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, and financial analysis.

What you will do

Accounting Operations

• Assist with daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor accounts.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accurate coding and timely processing of invoices and expense reports.

Audit & Compliance

• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Ensure financial practices comply with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with retention policies.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or trends requiring further investigation.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing relevant data and insights.
