STEWARD

 

Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como’s Steward is in charge of keeping the kitchen clean and sanitized, managing the workflow of dirt and clean dishes, equipment and taking care of the wastage areas.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize the work surfaces, equipment, dishes, and utensils
  • Maintain cleanliness standards following the kitchen cleanings procedure, hood extractor cleanings procedure, oil disposal procedure and electrical equipment procedure.
  • Operate the dishwashers and other equipment used for cleaning and sterilizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen, sweeping and washing floors, sanitizing job areas.
  • Follow all the relevant safety procedures related to the use of the kitchen’s equipment, the disposal of waste products, and other activities
  • Support the Chefs

 

Requirements:

  • Live near the Resort and/or be equipped with a means of transport (car/moto ecc..)
  • Speak at least an intermediate level of Italian or English
  • Minimum 1-year experience in the position is considered a plus
