Position Summary:
- Rise with us, assisting with preparing of good quality dishes with high presentation standards, focusing on attention to detail
- Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food before use
- Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
- Maintain organisational skills to ensure your section is clean and runs efficiently throughout each service period
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations, focusing on the guest’s overall wellbeing
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment.
- Maintain strong food safety and property standards
- Clean various surfaces such as floors, benches, canteen area and more
- Chemical handling with accordance to health and safety standards
