About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Engineering Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Technician 3 is responsible to keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the hotel. The Technician 3 reports to the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering.
As Technician 3, you will be responsible for the following duties:
• Execute all jobs assigned to you in an efficient and accurate manner
• Obtains maximum control to the function of physical assets of the Hotel
• Maintains a close liaison inter-departmentally and with other departments in the Hotel
• Attends the briefing conducted by the supervisor on time relating to your assign operation
• Always abides by the policies and procedures of the hotel
As Technician 3, we expect from you:
• Minimum SPM or vocational qualification would be an advantage
• Team player, cooperative
• Able to analyze any malfunction of all mechanical equipment used in the Hotel
• Ability to write routine reports, keep logs and correspondence
