About the role:

The Valet Attendant is responsible for the meticulous upkeep of all linens used throughout the resort as well as the detailed dry cleaning of our guests clothing and employee uniforms. Sorts, processes and finishes Guest Clothing and Employee Uniforms to exacting standards.  Retrieves and delivers clothing from Guests for processing

What you will do:

• Sorts guest items for appropriate action (Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) and then processes the clothing on the correct equipment, using the appropriate temperature and chemicals.
• Operates and maintains washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, steam tunnel, presser and iron.
• Provide reports any problems or deficiencies to manager.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

What you bring:

• Knowledge of various laundry machines preferred.
• Have a high level of attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
• Applicants must be comfortable around chemicals, machines and have the ability to learn their operation.
• Excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all types of shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Minimum qualification of a Diploma
