About The Role
As Valet at Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, you will ensure linen, trolleys and storage areas are efficiently managed to enable a smooth daily operation of the Housekeeping department. You will work closely with Housekeeping Supervisors and Room Attendants to keep supply levels, equipment and back-of-house areas organised and service-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage transfer and distribution of bed linen, towels and other textiles between laundry and assigned outlets; ensure timely deliveries to floors and departments.
• Prepare, equip and maintain housekeeping carts: stock consumables, amenities and cleaning supplies for daily room servicing.
• Maintain organised and clean storerooms and linen rooms; receive deliveries and check quantities/quality.
• Support general housekeeping tasks when required (move items, clear corridors, assist with turndown or departure services).
• Inspect trolleys, carts and service equipment; report faults and facilitate maintenance or replacement.
• Assist with laundry-related tasks as instructed (sorting, tagging, basic folding) and coordinate with external laundry providers when needed.
• Follow health & safety, Safe & Sound and hygiene protocols; contribute to loss prevention and proper stock rotation (FIFO).

What We Expect From You

• Practical experience in housekeeping, valet or similar operational role in hospitality (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling loads, pushing trolleys and prolonged periods on your feet.
• Reliable, proactive and a team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; other languages are an advantage.
• Knowledge of hotel inventory/stock systems (HotSOS, Infor) is beneficial but not essential.
