Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Food & Beverage Waiter, you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Welcome guests and present them with menus upon arrival.
  • Take food and drinks orders and communicate the order details to the kitchen team.
  • Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Respond to guest’s inquiries about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Offer menu recommendations to guests based on their preferences or dietary needs.
  • Regularly check on guests to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and drinks and take action to correct if any complaints or issues aries.
  • Process payments and handle transactions including cash, credit, and debit cards.
  • Set up dining areas, including arranging table settings and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Replenish supplies such as silverware, glassware, and napkins.
  • Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished dining and prepare tables for the next guests, ensuring they are clean and well set up.
  • Address and resolve guests complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner and escalate to management if necessary.
  • Attend to any additional requests or needs from guests and promote special menus, seasonal menu items and other promotions.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards hotel, security and fire regulations.
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
