At the Gran Meliá Palacio de los Duques Hotel, we are looking for a waiter/waitress responsible for providing excellent service in line with the brand’s luxury standards. Their main mission is to guarantee a sophisticated, personalized, and memorable experience for each guest in a space that combines history and an exclusive ambiance.
Main mission:
- Prepare and serve drinks, cocktails and snacks following the hotel’s quality standards.
- Advise guests on the drinks menu, signature cocktails and bar offerings.
- To take orders efficiently and ensure a smooth, elegant, and high-level service.
- Keep the work area, bar and tables clean, organized and well stocked, meeting hygiene and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and dining room team to ensure coordinated operations and impeccable service.
- Manage payments and orders using POS systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Comply with Gran Meliá’s customer service protocols, offering a friendly, professional and personalized service.
- Participate in internal training and support continuous service improvement initiatives.
What are we looking for in you?
- Previous experience as a waiter/barista in 4 or 5 star hotels or luxury restaurants.
- Solid knowledge of cocktails, barista skills and premium beverage service.
- High level of English; other languages are a plus.
- Excellent presence, communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Availability for rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Luxury customer focus.

- Mastery of service techniques and protocol.
