Sales Manager

Description

  • Call on all the Cape Town client base.
  • Facilitating the following for the Leisure segment in Cape Town
    • Site inspections
    • Dinners
    • Larger events
    • Year End Functions etc
    • Activations
  • Acquisition of new Leisure accounts for the club of sales.
  • Facilitate & Host Famtrips across the country where needed.
  • Maintain existing relationships with the current Leisure client base.

TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maximizes Hotel Revenue

  • Achieve budgeted goals by executing sales activities within the assigned market segment.
  • Assist the Key Account Director and Country Director of Sales with relevant monthly reporting.
  • Maintain effective correspondence between clients, Hotels and relevant stakeholders.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Increases sales volumes and profitability by assisting in developing and executing projects for assigned market segment.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities for the group

Sales Strategy and Delivery

  • Conducts regular meetings with the Key Account Directors and Country Director of Sales to set objectives and to ensure that action plans are in place for the Country or designated area/market segment.
  • Assist Key Account Directors to achieve overall Sales targets for specific market segments.
  • Assist Key Account Directors to implement strategies to facilitate market penetration for increased national and international production to meet increasing demands reflecting in the change and growth of the Company.
  • Conducts client inspections to secure business or confirm new business.
  • Assists Key Account Directors to increase sales volumes and profitability by formulating and executing projects for all market segments for the Country.
  • Reviews market analysis to determine client needs, occupancy potential, desired and competitive rates etc.
  • Drive and maintain overall sales to gain new business development opportunities and monitor completion of pro-active sales activities and projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive leisure revenue and market share growth for the Country Hotels through maximizing existing and new clients.
  • Assisting the Key Account Director – Leisure as required.
  • Attends all meeting in the absence or upon request of the Country Director of Sales or Key Account Directors.
  • Attends Radisson Sales Blitz’s and/or trade shows in key market cities to develop new business and to contact established clients in these cities.
