Duties and Responsibilities
As Spa Receptionist, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
• Warmly welcome all guests with a personalized, attentive approach reflecting Six Senses standards.
• Efficiently manage spa bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling using the spa system.
• Ensure guest confidentiality and deliver professional service throughout the spa journey.
• Maintain accurate guest records, including preferences and treatment history.
• Optimize therapist schedules to balance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Support cleanliness and ambiance at the spa reception and retail space.
• Educate guests on spa products and assist with retail upselling.
• Process payments and generate reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with the spa team to ensure seamless operations.
• Promote and practice sustainability aligned with Six Senses’ wellness philosophy.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Spa Receptionist, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar luxury spas and health clubs with proven references. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I keep myself updated with the latest trends in fitness and wellness.
• Fluent in English;
• Massage Therapy and Retail sales background preferred.
