Job Description

Reporting to the Banquet Director, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Checks in and out with Banquet Director and takes direction.
  • Has ability to set a room to the specifications of each “Event Order.”
  • Desire and ability to assist Managers and staff in accomplishing guest satisfaction.
  • Able to keep Banquet areas clean and organized at all times.
  • Able to change or adjust room set-ups to better service guests or wait staff.
  • Able to work quickly yet safely when a room set-up must be changed in a minimum of time.
  • Can give timely and clear directions to Banquet Attendants.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to train new employees.
  • Responsible for the assigning, guiding and directing of Banquet Attendants.
  • Ability to lift, carry and transport relatively heavy equipment.
  • Has a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Good communicational skills.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Pro-active.

Hourly rate of $20.50
