Stewarding Manager

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all the Food and Beverage related areas and the inventory and control of all equipment related to the department.
• Ensure to assist the Executive Chef in planning, scheduling, problem solving and conducting inspections within the department to ensure operative effectiveness.
• Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Hyderabad Airport should be brought to the attention of the Management.

People Management

• Ensure that cleanliness and personal hygiene of the Stewarding Department personnel is maintained as per the standards.
• Assist the Executive Chef to assign duties and conduct inspections to ensure operative effectiveness.
• Motivate and develop staff to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.
• Achieve guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.
• Ensure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.

Financial Management

• Assist the Executive Chef to record data concerning inventory controls, work assignments, personnel activities, etc.
• Ensure to operate the department in such a manner that all cost objectives are met.
• Identify optimal, cost effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same.
