Director of Banquets
About the role
The Director of Banquets plans, organizes, directs, and oversees the Banquet department to ensure exceptional service, flawless event execution, and elevated guest experiences for all banquet functions, meetings, and events.
What you will do
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop banquet leadership and line staff to maintain Four Seasons standards.
• Oversee daily banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown for all functions and events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Culinary, Stewarding, Sales/Catering, and F&B teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
• Manage labor and operating expenses through strategic scheduling, forecasting, and inventory control.
• Partner with Catering and Food & Beverage leadership to review event performance and identify service enhancements.
• Support hands-on service for high-profile or VIP events as needed.
What you bring
• At least 2-3 years of banquet event management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
